This is St. Joseph Church where William Hazell and Maria Mellet got married, Galway, Co. Galway, Ireland. This is a picture from the 1800's and the church remains the same today (2008). The inside is beautiful.There is no government record of their marriage. Will and Maria married only a few days before he left for the USA. The policy was, and still is, that only four people can register a marriage with the government: The bride or groom or the best man or maid of honor.
