September 5, 2010 marked the Hazell and Mellett Family Southern California reunion. It was a beautiful Southern California day with a slight night breeze to set the stage for a Hollywood Red Carpet event. It was a walk down memory lane as just under 60 family members gathered for a pot luck reunion under the stars.Hosting the event was Wayne and Jamie Weeks and their 5 children, spouses, and grand children. The event took place at the home of Wayne and Jamie. Jamie has been serving as the family historian for over 25 years. This was the long awaited presentation of the Hazell and Mellett family history.
