A few short years after Maria came to the United States her younger sister. She had two children Joan and Patricia (Pat). Tess was very close to her grand daughter Terry. Tess's daughter Pat was very close with her first cousin Katherine Gerturde Hazell (Gertrude). Pat was in Gertrude's wedding in 1947.
