This is the view from across the street of Delia's home on James St., Westport, Co. Mayo. How beautiful it was to relax and enjoy time together. Wayne and I traveled to visit Delia and other family in 2007 and 2008. Across the other cornor of Delia's home was the Catholic Church. Fondly Delia told of how her late husband Martin told her they lived so close to the church you could roll out of bed and be at Mass. The folks along James Street all knew Delia. She was the type of person that would open her heart to anyone. You were never a stranger with Delia.
